This policy explains what data the Kidzzpro app (used by guardians) and the Kidzzpro My Day app (installed on the dependent's device) handle, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018) and other applicable laws.
Data controller
The data controller is Bernardo Augusto de Andrade e Oliveira (Zonty Apps), an individual based in Brazil. Contact for privacy matters and to exercise your rights: zontyapps@gmail.com.
What data we handle
From the guardian (who creates the account):
- Email address and password (the password is stored encrypted by Firebase Authentication; we have no access to it);
- name, family name and profile picture (a character or a photo you choose);
- the list of devices you are signed in on (brand and model), for your plan's device limit;
- the guardians you invite to the family (name and email).
About the dependent, entered by the guardian:
- name, profile picture (character or photo) and, if the guardian chooses to give it, the date of birth, used only to suggest tasks and rules for the age;
- tasks, times, usage rules, adjustments (extra time, blocks, special dates), the website filter settings (categories and sites blocked or allowed) and the history of completed tasks;
- requests for more time made by the dependent and the answers.
From the dependent's device (Kidzzpro My Day):
- an anonymous device identifier and the device name/model, to link it to the dependent;
- daily screen time per app (app name and time used), when screen-time control is active;
- current activity: whether the screen is on and which app is open (app name and since when), so the guardian can see what the dependent is doing right now. Only the latest state is kept, replaced at each change;
- the icons of the apps used, stored once per app, not linked to any person.
Task reminders are scheduled on the dependent's device itself and never go through a server. We don't use advertising, behavioral analytics or tracking tools.
Website filter (Premium, when the guardian turns it on): Kidzzpro My Day uses a local Android VPN that only receives the lookups of site names (DNS). The name is checked on the device itself to decide whether the site is blocked; allowed lookups go on to the DNS server of the network in use, as they would without the filter. No other traffic goes through the VPN, and no site visited is stored or sent to Kidzzpro or to the guardian. The device only tells the guardian whether the filter is working.
How we use it
- To create and keep your account and family, and let guardians share the follow-up;
- to show the guardian the dependent's tasks, screen time, current activity and requests, and the dependent their own tasks and time;
- to apply the usage rules, time limits and blocks set by the guardian;
- to apply the limits of the plan in use;
- to send account emails (email confirmation and password reset);
- to comply with legal obligations and keep the service secure.
Legal bases: performance of the service agreement (LGPD art. 7, V) and, for children's and teenagers' data, the specific and prominent consent of at least one parent or legal guardian (LGPD art. 14), given when adding the dependent and pairing their device. This data is processed in the best interest of the child and teenager.
Children and teenagers
Kidzzpro is made for parents and legal guardians to follow how their dependents use their devices. The account always belongs to an adult guardian; the dependent doesn't create an account. By adding a dependent and pairing their device, the guardian declares being their parent or legal guardian and consents to the processing described here. We recommend talking with the dependent about the app and the rules set.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent data. Data is stored and processed by Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a processor that follows the Firebase privacy policy. Servers may be located outside Brazil; this international transfer relies on Google's contractual safeguards (LGPD art. 33). A family's data is seen only by that family's guardians and by the devices paired with its dependents. The Premium subscription is bought and billed through Google Play, which doesn't share your card details with us. To confirm subscriptions we use RevenueCat, which receives from Google Play the family's identifier, the plan, the purchase and renewal dates and the purchase identifier (RevenueCat privacy policy).
We may disclose data when required by law or court order.
How long we keep it
We keep data while the account exists. When the account is deleted, we delete the family and everything in it (dependents, tasks, rules, adjustments, usage history and paired devices). Invite and pairing codes expire on their own within 48 hours. The provider's backups may take a few days to be discarded.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and access is controlled by security rules that let each person or device see only their own family's data. No system is completely immune to failures; if a relevant security incident happens, we will notify those affected and the authorities as required by law.
Your rights
At any time you can: confirm whether we process your data and access it; correct incomplete or outdated data; ask for deletion, anonymization or blocking; ask for portability; know who we share it with; withdraw consent; and file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or your local authority. Most of this can be done in the app (edit data, delete dependents, delete the account). For the rest, write to zontyapps@gmail.com; we answer within 15 days.
How to delete your account
In the Kidzzpro app, open My account → Delete my account. See the details on the Delete your account page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date of the last update is at the top of the page; important changes will also be announced in the app.
