Privacy Policy — DataPraia

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This is a translation of the Portuguese text, which prevails in case of any difference.

Summary: DataPraia doesn't ask you to sign up and doesn't collect personal data on its own. It shows public climate data. The ads shown in the app are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device data as described below.

1. Who we are

The DataPraia: Rain at the Beach app (package com.datapraia) is developed and published by Zonty Apps, which is responsible for the data processing described in this policy. Contact: zontyapps@gmail.com.

2. Data the app collects

DataPraia does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location or any sign-up, and doesn't send what you search or look up to our servers. The climate information and the list of beaches are stored inside the app itself. Your choices on screen (month, state, sorting, search) are not stored or shared by us.

3. Ads (Google AdMob)

To keep the app free, we show ads from Google AdMob (Google LLC). To show, measure and prevent fraud in ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process, under Google's policies:

This data is processed by Google as a controller, under the Google Privacy Policy and the page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

You can reset or delete the advertising ID and limit personalized ads in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device).

4. Sources of the climate data

The data shown comes from public databases: Brazil's National Institute of Meteorology (INMET), NOAA GHCN, IBGE and OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors). They are historical averages, not weather forecasts.

5. Sharing

We don't sell or share personal data. The only third party that receives data from the app is Google, for the ads, as described in section 3.

6. Children

DataPraia is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

7. Your rights (LGPD)

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018), you can ask for confirmation of processing, access, correction or deletion of data at the email above. Since the app has no accounts and doesn't keep personal data on our servers, there is no data of yours stored by us to delete; for ad data, use the Google controls mentioned in section 3.

8. Security and retention

The app talks to Google's services over encrypted connections. We don't keep user databases.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows the version in force.
